    I just got it. I have not had a chance to try it out yet. It took pictures according to the instruction manual. The manual could be much better. It does not explain the extra battery space. It said nothing about registering the temperature, which is nice, but it was a complete surprise.

    The way the plastic plastic mounting brace is attached to the camera is not very strong. I have owned other cameras with this same plastic mounting brace. I have had to reattached to plastic brace to the back of the camera with small metal screws.

    I like the camera, so far.
    However, not crazy about the batteries that came with.
    Shortly after installation, at least one began to over heat…got quite hot, actually. I quickly pulled all the batteries before any damage could be done to the camera. I replaced with 8 name brand batteries and all seems to be fine.
    Also, mounting hardware is not robust enough to support the weight of the camera. A short time after attaching the camera, the whole unit pivoted forward and the camera was then pointing at the ground, so I went with using the strap.
